About us

We train every Thursday from 19:00 to 20:30,at the Rushcliffe Arena Leisure Centre, West Bridgford. This involves a good warm up , skills training and games. 

As well as Volleyball, we are also a social club . After practice we usually retire to the bar, and as we enjoy good food and & wine , also have the occasional meal out. We also try to get away from Nottingham once or Twice a year - a weekend at CenterParcs or a campsite somewhere in the UK.

Each year we enter a mixed team into the Nottinghamshire Open League and after years of being the runners up , we have been reigning champions for the last three years. Places for the league team are at a premium , but if you feel ready for the cut and thrust of competitive volleyball there could be a place for you .

If you don't want to play league volleyball but would simply enjoy the more relaxed recreational volleyball on a Thursday , we cater for both.

Club Fees

Unfortunately we don't own a Volleyball court so  fees have to be paid.

First session is free 

The new rates will be:

£12 per month (£7.50 concessionary rate) applicable from Oct 1^{st   2005}

 Match fees will remain as they are, financed by the players that take part in that match

£3.50 (£2.50 concessionary rate)

 Was agreed to reintroduce an annual team membership of £10

 Policy for people interested in joining the club remains but adjusted in line with new rates. Their first week is free. Thereafter they pay £4 per week (£2.50 concessionary) to a maximum of  £12 per month (£7.50 concessionary).

This can be paid on a weekly , or monthly basis to the Treasurer. If   you are feeling flush it can be paid annually at the cost of £144.
