The Unconquerable 6 all went down to the Lake near Jeff’s house that was at the edge of his property. It was about noon and everyone was just lounging around.

Matt was barbecuing. Jeff was jet skiing with Christian and Edge. Lita, Raziel and Gangrel were sitting on the blanket playing Truth or Dare.

Lita had just finished her dare. "All right Gangrel you’re up."

"Okay Raziel, truth, dare, double dare, promise to repeat?"

"Truth"

"What really happened on the night you were mugged?"

"You were mugged? When did this happen?" You weren’t hurt were you?" Asked a very concerned Lita.

Looking to Lita, "It was nothing My Lady." Turning to Gangrel, Raziel’s face darkened, then he quickly went back to normal. "I chose dare instead."

Slightly disappointed. Gangrel had to come up with a dare. "All right then. I dare you to jump in the lake with all your cloths on and stay in there for 5 minutes."

Raziel’s voice became emotionless, "Whatever must be done, shall be done." Saying that Raziel ran into the lake, shoes and all.

As Lita watched Raziel go, she briefly wondered why he wouldn’t discuss what happened.

"You know Lita, Raziel scares me a little sometimes. He’s somewhat detached at times."

Lita nodded in response. Her concern deepened.

As Raziel treaded water he became distinctly aware of all too familiar presence. Raziel looked widely around the lake. Is he in the water? He quickly dived under to find nothing. Kain was close, that was obvious, but where was Raziel’s question. Raziel was so distracted by his search for Kain that he didn’t hear Gangrel’s call for him to come back in. He continued looking until he looked back at the beach and saw a form that brought utter hatred from him.

White hair, gray eyes, and pale complexion. Only one individual had that form, Kain. Raziel swam to shore with his the quickness of his vampiric gifts. He launched from the water and came down on a seemingly surprised Kain. Once Kain was knocked down, Raziel proceeded to beat the living crap out of Kain. Kain did nothing. Raziel, however, didn’t register this course of action. He only wanted to destroy Kain. His clawed hands made short work of Kain’s pseudo flesh. Soon he was a bloody mess. He heard a strange buzzing in his ears and finally realized it was his friends. They were screaming at him and backing away. He couldn’t make out what they were saying. Why are they running away from me? I’ve saved them. Raziel looked down and to his horror, saw a clawed blue hand. His true form replaced his human form. When had this happened?

Gangrel was yelling at the others, "Matt, Jeff, Lita, Edge, Christian, run that thing has just attacked an innocent man and it may come after us next."

"What about Raziel? That thing was Raziel, wasn’t it?!?!? Asked Matt as he ran with Lita.

"He’s a freak." Roared Christian.

"Call the police! That thing must die!" Yelled Gangrel.

"Raziel can’t be that thing!" screamed a frustrated Lita. She stopped running and turned to face Raziel. Matt ran after and stood beside a distraught Lita. "What are you and what have you done with Raziel?" Screaming at him.

Raziel’s eyes flashed azure, then dimmed. He breathed the words "My Lady…"

Lita’s face fell at hearing those words. Tears began to well up in her eyes. "No! No! No! No! No! You aren’t him you can’t be him. You stole his voice, you despicable bastard." Matt looked at the blue being before him with confusion.

"Come on Lita, if that thing was Raziel, it’s not our Raziel. That said, they left.

Raziel was left on the beach with a dead Kain. "I’ve lost them all. My friends and Lita. In destroying my enemy, I killed my only connections to companionship." Raziel spat on Kain’s carcass.

"How easily you fall to anger Raziel." It was the voice of Kain, only Kain wasn’t moving.

"How can I hear you demon when you are dead!"

"I have many tricks Raziel. Do you think it would be that easy to destroy me? Guess again boy. I am eternal."

"Cut the self-proclaiming attitude and tell me what’s going on."

"Open your eyes Raziel, you’re simply day dreaming, with my help of course. I’m only showing you what could happen."

Raziel opened his eyes and found himself back in the water, he couldn’t sense Kain at all. Gangrel was waving for him to come back in. Was it all a daydream? Raziel became weary. Lita and Gangrel looked at him with even more concern. As they watched him swim to shore. He looked as if he wasn’t really there.

"Are you all right?"

"I wish to retire now." Saying so, Raziel got up and left. Trudging thorough the woods towards home, Raziel thought about everything.

Lita was about to follow when Gangrel told her to let him be.
