1. Raziel is the character from the game Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. The basic story of the game is Raziel was the highest general in Kain’s vampire army—the creator of all vampires. Every few centuries Kain would evolve, such as clawed hand for easier kills and a resistant to most methods of killing. Raziel had the misfortune of evolving before Kain, by gaining a pair of wings. Kain was jealous of Raziel, so he viciously ripped the bones out of his wings. Kain then proceed to torture Raziel for three days, until on the final day he threw Raziel into a swirling pool of water, that was spectral portal of eternal pain. Raziel was burned beyond recognition and finally landed on the bottom of the pool of water. He remained there for about 1000 years until he was revived by a mysterious entity, known as the elder. The elder restored movement and consciousness to Raziel—not life. In return Raziel was to be his soul reaver. His job was to collect lost souls and stop those who interfered on this job. Raziel took the job to get back at Kain.

2. Raziel has rid the world, of Nosgoth of all vampires. He jumps though the portal after Kain. Imagine his surprise when he finds out that the world he’s in now is not his own. He’s not in Nosgoth anymore, he’s in Detroit, and Kain is on the losse. Guess whose in town? The WWF. How will Raziel the undead of the undead handle professional wrestling and Kain.

A blue portal opens up in the middle of the 6-96 freeway and a mass of blue falls from it, onto a speeding car. The car immediately throws on the breaks, sending the object hurling forward through space at a high velocity. It makes a sickening thumb as it hits the concrete wall. Other cars swerve to miss the stopped car but no other accidents occur. Traffic continues at a slow speed because of gwakers.

In one car a pair of escaped cons, Vinnie and Luke have just stolen a Blue Jeep Grand Cherokee. They’re trying to get out of the traffic jam.

Luke asks incredulosly, "What was that thing?

Vinnie responds quickly, not really knowing for sure what he saw. "I think it was a dog!"

"Sense when have dogs been blue?"

"Sense your butt went color blind! It was obliviously not blue. Now start driving before the cops come along. We just escaped from prison. Besides, I don’t think I want to see how that dog or whatever looks like now".

"Yeah, you’re right." Luke drives by the wall where the dog hit it, only to see a dent. "Where’s the dog!

"I don’t know just drive! I hear the Police!"

Luke quickly takes action and zooms off the freeway and turns down a secluded side street to hide.

" Whew! I think we’re ok."

A distant voice replies. "Never has there been a person been as wrong as you are now. Your troubles have just begun, but then that won’t last long, because your souls are mine."

Wha???? Exclaims Vinnie as he is struck with fear.

Suddenly the car is lifted off the ground and turned sideways. The two guys are thrown from the car. They are both momentarily stunned. They watch as the big "blue dog" drops the car uncerismonily to the ground.

Vinnie is the first to react OMG! It’s that blue dog and it talks.

"I don’t need this!"

Raziel looks at the escaped cons with contempt. "I do so hate the sound of your insipid mispronunciations. I assure you knaves that I am anything but a lowly mongrel. In one quick movemnet, Raziel removes the cloak covering his lower face to reveal two fangs, but no lower jaw.

Luke, who refuses to quake in fear retorts to Raziel’s action with anger. "What happened to you? Did you mama beat you with the ugly stick while in the womb?"

Vinnie shakes his head in disbelief. "I don’t think that was wise man."

"You won’t jest long, sow." Suddenly small sparks of blue light start emanating from the two guys, until they form into two giant balls of light. Raziel quickly devour their souls completely. He could have only nibbled at their souls but he decided to save that for someone, who is innocent, allowing him not to kill them. With each soul possessed he learns of all that the previous owner knew. Raziel thinks to himself. No harm no foul. Some banal criminals are no longer here and am satisfied, plus I have gained some valuable information. He strolls off down the block. Now to resume my quest for Kain, the treacherous dog.

After devouring the souls of the two criminals. Raziel realizes that he is in the city of Detroit. The wind howls as it blows through trees and shrubs alike. The moon shines brightly in the alabaster sky. Raziel has taken cover in an abandoned building until the time was right to present himself to the world.
